We seek an energetic, self-motivated and experienced candidate for Inside Sales Representative to join our team. This opportunity is located in Minneapolis, MN.
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for incoming existing clients, relationship building, product knowledge, job tracking, project management and prospecting for revenue opportunities with existing clients.
Starting annual compensation is commensurate with relevant job experience. This position reports to the Company’s Chief Sales Officer (CSO).
Key Responsibilities
- Assists and expedites all incoming sales calls, quotes, and inquiries.
- Determines client’s needs through discussion/consultation and recommends appropriate products and solutions.
- While assisting clients, prospect for new business opportunities by asking open ended questions to understand client’s needs and potential opportunities.
- Develop relationships with existing clients by identifying clients who could develop further with additional communication touch points and regular contact. Promote applicable products and services that would bring benefit to the client.
- Serve as a valued client partner, providing project management, product knowledge and solutions, quote assistance and sales development.
- Track quotes sent to clients through regular communication follow up.
- Provide internal company sales assistance as required.
Education & Experience
- Associate degree or higher, or equivalent sales experience
- Minimum three years inside sales experience, preferably in a distribution, construction, or manufacturing environment

- Self-directed with collaborative sales skills, initiative, and flexibility
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written, and interpersonal skills
- Motivated and proactive with the ability to function well in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational, time management and attention to detail skills, with the ability to prioritize
- Robust working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Comfortable with technology
